Frequently Asked Questions
01
What can I expect in my first session?
It is completely normal to feel nervous about coming to your first counseling session. The first session provides space for you to share why you’re coming to counseling, and what you hope to gain from this experience. I understand this may be uncomfortable to share, and I do my best to help you feel heard and understood.

What options do I have to pay for services?
I currently only accept self pay or out of pocket payments for therapy services.
I currently do not accept insurance. However if you are interested in applying for reimbursement with your insurance company, I will happily provide you with a superbill or documentation of services. This is automatically provided to each patient via my patient portal services on a monthly basis.

Healthcare providers are federally mandated to give clients an estimate of anticipated healthcare services. The Good Faith Estimate is not a legally binding contract, but will provide clients a reasonable expectation of the cost of therapy.
