About Me

I have worked in the field of mental health for several years with a focus on individual and group therapy for the past five. I have experience as well as a passion for working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety and experiences of trauma.

I earned a bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina Asheville in Psychology & Neuroscience as well as a master’s degree from University of Georgia in Clinical Social Work. Based on this education and my professional values, I strive to look at the pieces of a person’s life that may be impacting their mental health including family and careers as well as larger entities such as systematic forms of discrimination. I hope to provide tools and strategies to improve mental health by regulating an individual’s brain and body as well as introducing healthier coping strategies.

I moved to Decatur, GA in 2018 and have spent the last six years exploring the metro Atlanta area. In my free time I enjoy taking my dog Zippy to parks, trying out a new crafty activity, reading my book club's latest selection and planning my next trip to the mountains.
